Each issue of "Paper Talks" MAGAZINE® is filled with photos from the northern half of the State of Maine. These pictures, dating primarily between 1940 and 1970, offer those interested in Maine an opportunity to look back and see photos of their friends, relatives and perhaps, even themselves.
Other photos included feature area businesses and locales of significance, with related stories. Many of the photos we publish are submitted by our readers/subscribers. All these original pictures are returned to their owners.
About one quarter of the photos that are published are submitted by our subscribers and advertisers. To submit a photo, we request the opportunity to copy an original picture (no newspaper photos or photocopies.) The photo should be mailed with a cardboard liner, and be accompanied by a brief story including any names, date, location, etc. All photos are returned within 10 days. If a photo is emailed, it should be scanned at a resolution of 300 dpi and emailed in TIFF or JPG format.
