At the turn of the 20th century, during a mild fall, these two Dexter men posed alongside a 1500 pound moose, shot at a logging camp near Onawa. The Canadian Pacific railroad tracks are identified in the left background. The "moose sled" or "pung" was crafted completely of hand-hewn wood, with the exception of two iron bands near the runners.
