The Vestmen "rocked" the Greater Bangor area from the fall of 1965 until the spring of 1969. Managed by Mickey Goldsmith, the quintet performed their opening gig at the parking lot of Johnny's Pizza in Old Town. Later engagements included the Bangor State Fair and several Battle of the Bands at Peake's Auditorium. The unit played at sites reaching from Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, to St. Stephen, New Brunswick-- and many other locales between.
